Functions of carbohydrates

Carbohydrates are compounds of carbon and water. It is difficult to overestimate the functions of carbohydrates in our body. Firstly, this is an energy function. Without enough energy, we simply cannot survive. Secondly, it is a stocking function, so to speak, the accumulation of an additional reserve of forces and, thirdly, supporting, in other words, the ability to regenerate cells. The insufficient use of carbohydrates in food is fraught with metabolic disorders, which, ultimately, will lead to fatty degeneration of the liver and violation of the normal functioning of the brain.
