Modern glazing
25.09.2017
Approximately 35-40% of thermal losses depend on glazing and insulation of windows. Double glazing ensures a decrease in condensation and the size of the cold zone in winter. Triple glazing provides better heat saving and insulating the room from noise. Heat — and sound insulation depend on the thickness of the glasses and the distance between them. The latter should be at least 75mm. To reduce the noise, the distance must be increased, but the heat retention will deteriorate. Therefore, to achieve the best heat — and sound insulation is added to a double -glazed window of two glasses at a distance of 75mm.
