Partitions in the room

Partitions do not carry any load, except as perform the function of dividing the space into premises of a smaller area. The entire load falls on the load -bearing walls. To choose the desired material for creating a partition, it is necessary to own considerable knowledge. The soundproofing in the rooms will directly depend on the selected material. There is a minimum thickness for internal partitions and for external, between apartments. The internal creates at least 10 cm, and the external ones — at least 20 cm in width.
