Photoepilation at home

Photo epilation is a technique based on the absorption of light with a special hair pigment — melanin. In the scientific literature, the designated procedure is called Intense Pulse Light or intense pulsating light. During the absorption of light, thermal energy is released, which destroys the hair rod, as well as follicles — the hair bulb, without violating the integrity of the skin. The designated phenomenon is usually called selective photothermolysis, which destroys the hair follicles without any damage to the surrounding tissues.
