The structure of
Porcelain stoneware is made of clay mass, which is subjected to pressing and firing at high temperatures. The surface polishing begins from the moment of cutting the upper layer of the product in order to remove all the roughness and unevenness. To obtain a perfectly even and smooth base, porcelain stoneware is polished using an abrasive disk. The composition of the initial mixture, from which at the output receives a strong and solid finishing material, add a field sleeper. This mineral breed is necessary to increase the melting temperature of the natural composition, and the spar itself plays the role of a small pore aggregate in the structure of porcelain stoneware. When the finished product is cooled, a small shrinkage occurs, so polished tiles are slightly smaller than the traditional matte coating.
