BMW presented a new «troika»

Last Friday at the BMW outlet in the city of Munich, where the insulation of windows and balcony doors costs tangibly more than in Russia, the German concern demonstrated the serial modification of the next generation of the 3-Series model. The BMW 3-Series of the new generation significantly added in size. The length of the sedan body increased by ninety -three millimeters, the wheelbase added fifty millimeters, the front track expanded by thirty -seven millimeters, the rear — by forty -seven millimeters. In the cabin, the designers of the new “Troika” managed to free an additional eight millimeters of the space above the heads of the rear passengers and expand the gap in front of their knees by fifteen millimeters. Despite the fact that the vehicle grew in dimensions, the equipped mass was reduced by forty kilograms through the use of modern composite materials.
