Smooth wire can be applied under the same clutch conditions, only with a diameter not more than 2.6 mm (string concrete) and with concrete brands not lower than “500”. To facilitate the technology of manufacturing string concrete, an intertwined high -strength wire is used. With its diameter of 6 mm, the number of reinforcing rods in the section, compared with smooth strings with a diameter of 2.6 mm, decreases by more than 80%.
